Colle del Sole is a gentle hill which rises 420 meter above sea level, next to Perugia and Umbertide. This wonderful location, part of a protected natural area, offers a magnificient view of the Umbrian hills as far as eyes can see. The Relais and Farmhouse Colle del Sole, a XVI° farmhouse, is immersed in vineyards and olive groves and surrounded by castles and monasteries, witnesses to a rich and fascinating history.

Here life is simple but rewarding. The cultivations of the agritourism have been made, for over 25 years, in the respect of the natural environment, without the use of pesticides or chemicals, making the family Polidori one of the first producers of organic wine in Italy. Hunting is banned in Colle del Sole therefore nature lovers should not be surprised to come across hawks, pheasants, foxes and squirrels while walking around the area.

The Relais and Farmhouse Colle del Sole is a family run structure, where you can enjoy a pleasant and restful holiday in the typical atmosphere of rural Umbria. The service provided is simple but filled with many attentions that make the guests feel at home.

Relais and Farmhouse Colle del Sole has apartments (that sleep 4 or 6 persons) with independent access, kitchen, double bedrooms and bathroom. Each apartment has a private garden with barbecue and eating area and some also have a chimney. All the apartments are decorated in the typical style of an Umbria farmhouse. Linen and towels are changed weekly. Guests can make use of the laundry and, upon request, of a daily cleaning of the apartments. Those who wish to bring domestic animals should ask the Relais and Farmhouse Colle del Sole in advance.

The Agriturismo has double rooms and a triple room. The rooms are all comfortable and cosy, carefully furnished with en suite bathrooms with shower, heating, direct dial telephone and satellite television. The guests staying in the rooms can enjoy a complimentary breakfast made of delicious freshly baked cakes and jams made by Susanna with the fruits grown in the agriturismo.
